As a cinematographer, Sarah often finds drone work useful and/or necessary to get the shot needed. Also as a cinematographer, she was never satisfied until she held the camera. She got her FAA Part 107 license in 2017, as well as her night waiver.

Her company is named after her drone inclination - Aviatrix means "She Flies".
